Recall of “Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar”

Withdrawn from market due to misleading labeling such as sugar free

Coca-Cola, the world-renowned soft drink maker, has had to withdraw its product Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar from Georgia in the US. The main reason for which is being misleadingly said to be the labeling of sugar free.
Coca-Cola has always been in controversy. Coca Cola has earned tremendous amounts even with different controversies and controversies in different countries. Around the world, many brands of Coca-Cola are selling soda under their flags by packing soda in plastic bottles. Recently, Coca-Cola launched a soda called Coca-Cola Ultimate, keeping in mind the gamer, in which sugar-free labeling was done. Remember, this gamer class ranges from 10-year-old children to 25-year-olds or more.


The claim of Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar being sugar-free was found false in the FDA’s investigation, due to which the US Food Safety Agency has ordered its withdrawal from the market.
The FDA passed the order in the beginning of July itself and till now the withdrawal of Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar from the market is going on. This product was distributed in Georgia where it is now being recalled.


Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar is yet to be launched in the Indian market. But there are many such sugar soda brands available. In which sugar is more than the prescribed beads. But only the standard is printed on the labeling.
Note – Sugar does not mean simple sugar. Sugar means artificial sweetness whose sweetness is measured by keeping it in the scale of ordinary sugar.
