Food Main is a bilingual web portal, which works in Hindi and English. Foodmen In the present context, the food chain is huge from farm to plate. It plays the role of a vigilant watchdog on the activities of the industries, distribution, technology, working professionals, organizations and food factories in that chain and the rigging in them.
Food Main is currently a start up and self funded web portal.
Our job is to bring the common consumer to our site by disseminating food blogging, feedback and videos on various aspects of food by making full use of social media. Foodmen is self invested in its work and hopes to cooperate with aware Indians in this work.
This is the effort of foodmen. To work for connecting food sector experts, government departments and businessmen. This work is done through mutual discussion of subject experts under conferences, workshops and seminars. Food Men expanding their role also offers a variety of courses and training in Food Academy. Through this web portal, we have to encourage our own traditional food by knowing the food trends which are socially weak.

Objectives of Foodmen

We keep the vastness of a country like India and traditional food and farming above all because we will be able to keep health alive only by keeping ancient knowledge on technology and under time-tested research on it.
Even though today’s fast food culture has attracted generations, it has rapidly put a very adverse effect on daily routine and health. In our view, we have to be healthy with food and not fall ill by eating the wrong food.
Foodmen’s priority will be to honestly present the rigging and corruption happening in the food and food chain components to the public and to challenge the negative predictions being made about the food and health of India’s future.

Foodmen a mission

We strongly feel that our scientific community is now divided in two, with one community seeking to succeed the agenda of multinational corporations on our food with foreign knowledge. Our mission is to take their exploits to the general public and in this mission we have to challenge them legally in the courts by checking the dangerous ingredients in the food items being brought by them. It can get the form of a movement only when the common citizen of the country becomes aware and vigilant. We have come a long way in solving problems with the government in complying with its laws and our experiences and problems faced by the citizens.

Foodmen does not support or associate with any industrial or commercial colony nor is it associated directly or indirectly with the agenda and propaganda of any company.

Acceptance

Under the news section, Foodman compiles the news available on news portals across the country and publishes it on its portal. For pictures and photos also we use the material available on the internet. Therefore, if we come under the purview of copyright law, then inform us by giving a notice.

फ़ूड मेन एक द्विभाषी वेब पोर्टल है , जो हिंदी और इंग्लिश में काम करता है। फ़ूडमेन वर्तमान परिपेक्ष में फ़ूड चैन जो की खेत से थाली तक विशाल है। उस शृखंला के उद्योगों, वितरण , तकनीकी , कार्यरत प्रोफेशनल , संगठनो और फ़ूड फैक्ट्री के क्रिया कलापों और उनमे होने वाली धांधलियों पर एक सजग प्रहरी की भूमिका निभाता है।
फ़ूड मेन अभी एक स्टार्ट उप है और सेल्फ फंडेड वेब पोर्टल है।
हमारा काम सोशल मीडिया का पूरी तरह से उपयोग कर फ़ूड के कई पहलुओं पर फ़ूड ब्लोगिंग, प्रतिक्रिया एवं वीडियो को प्रसारित कर आम कंस्यूमर को अपनी साइट पर लाना है।फ़ूडमेन अपने कार्यकर्म के लिए स्वयं निवेशित है तथा आशा करता है की इस कार्य में जागरूक भारतीयों द्वारा सहयोग दिया जायेगा।
फ़ूडमेन की यह कोशिश है। कि खाद्य क्षेत्र के जानकारों, सरकारी महकमे और व्यवसायियों को आपस में जोड़ने का काम करे। ये काम कॉन्फरेन्सेस , वर्कशॉप और सेमिनारों के तहत विषय के जानकारों की आपसी चर्चा से किया जाता है। फ़ूड मेन अपनी भूमिका में विस्तार करते हुए फ़ूड अकादमी में कई प्रकार के कोर्सेज और ट्रेनिंग भी देती है। इस वेब पोर्टल से हम फ़ूड ट्रेंड को जान कर सामाजिक रूप से कमजोर पड़े हमारे स्वयं के परम्परागत भोजन को प्रोत्साहित करना है।

फ़ूडमेन के उद्देश्य

हम भारत जैसे देश की विशालता और परम्परागत खान पान और खेती को सबसे ऊपर रखते हैं क्योंकि हम तकनीक पर प्राचीन ज्ञान को सर्वोपरि रख कर उस पर समय परख शोधों के तहत ही तंदरुस्ती को जीवित रख सकेंगे।
चाहे आज के फ़ास्ट फ़ूड कल्चर ने पीढ़ियों को आकर्षित किया हो किन्तु दिन चर्या और स्वस्थय पर बहुत प्रतिकूल प्रभाव तेजी से डाला है। हमारी दृष्टि में फ़ूड से ही सेहत बनाना है न कि गलत खान पान से बीमार पड़ा जाय।
फ़ूडमेन की प्राथमिकता खाद्य व खाद्य श्रृंखला के अवयव में हो रही धांधली व भ्रष्टाचार को ईमानदारी के साथ जनता के समक्ष ईमानदारी के साथ प्रस्तुत करना तथा भारत के भविष्य की खाद्य व स्वास्थय सम्बन्धी की जा रही नकारात्मक भविष्यवाणियो को चूनौती देना रहेगा

फ़ूडमेन एक मिशन

हमारा मजबूती से यह सोचना है कि हमारा वैज्ञानिक समुदाय अब दो भागों में बंट चुका है , जिसमे एक समुदाय विदेशी ज्ञान से हमारे भोजन पर बहु राष्ट्रीय कॉर्पोरेट के अजेंडे को सफल बनाना चाहती है। हमारा मिशन उनके कारनामों से आम जनता तक ले जाना है और इस मिशन में उनके द्वारा लाये जा रहे खाने पीने के प्रदार्थो में खतरनाक अवयवों की पड़ताल कर उन्हें न्यायलयों में कानूनन चुनौती देना है। इसे आंदोलन का रूप तभी मिल सकता है जब देश का आम नागरिक जागरूक और सजग बनेगा। हम सरकार के साथ उसके कानूनों का अनुपालन करने में होने वाली दिक्कतों और अपने अनुभवों और नागरिकों की समस्याओं को सुलझाने में लम्बे रास्ते पर अग्रसर हैं।

फ़ूडमेन किसी भी औद्योगिक या व्यवसाइक उपनिवेश का समर्थन या सहयोग नहीं करता है और न ही किसी भी कम्पनी के अजेंडे और प्रोपोगेंडा का प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़ा है।
